HeSuVi - Great! If you can get it working...

This is an installation tutorial and general overview of HeSuVi, a 7.1 surround sound virtualizer that can convert surround sound signals, be they from movies or music mixed in surround sound, into binaural stereo for headphones. Programs like this are a simple and cost-efficient way of listening to surround sound mixes, especially compared to a full surround sound speaker system.
The problem is your soundcard has to natively support surround inputs or you have install a virtual audio controller and feed its output into your actual soundcard (other systems will install there own and automatically output to your soundcard). This tutorial shows exactly that.
Oh and all music in this video has been recorded through HeSuVi with the atmos-.wav IR preset and additional EQ from Equalizer APO to flatten out the frequency response of the IR (which is something I recommend doing after you've chosen your IR of choice, though it is a very time consuming process).

Ran it through virus total and it came back as a trojan?

Only 4 out of 75 detected it as a virus, all 4 are from antivirus packages that seem to give a lot of false positives so I wouldn't worry about it.
