Het Hart van Rotterdam

The three speakers in this episode all work together from different disciplines. For example, Wiro Niessen is professor of biomedical imaging at both Erasmus MC and TU Delft, and works on combining medical images and Artificial Intelligence. Nicole Hunfeld is the hospital pharmacist, and has a towering ambition to reduce the waste mountain from intensive care to zero. Three Industrial Design students help with this. Natasja de Groot is a very passionate cardiologist, who uses electronic measurements to visualize a heart rhythm disorder. Meanwhile, Rien Goedhart has been puzzling for many years to plan all those courses, care centers, companies, etc. on campus.
