As you stand today, speaking about your family's incredible legacy, I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations on this momentous occasion. Celebrating 140 years of Heuer watches is not just about the passage of time, but about the countless innovations, the timeless designs, and the relentless pursuit of precision that your family has upheld through the generations. Your grandfather, and those who came before him, built more than just a brand-they crafted a symbol of excellence that has stood the test of time, a legacy that continues to inspire and set the standard in the world of horology. The fact that you are now the voice of this history speaks volumes about the trust and pride that your family has in you to carry forward this remarkable tradition. May you continue to honor this legacy with the same passion and dedication that has defined Heuer for over a century. Here's to the next 140 years of precision, innovation, and timeless elegance. With deepest respect and admiration, Joaquin Sánchez

I would like to thank you all for your lovely feedbacks! I am very honoured and thakful, that Jonathan Scatchard and David Harper gave me the opportunity to talk about my Grandfather! As described, the end of the Heuer story was not easy for the family. But I am impresseed how Jack Heuer has retained his pride and humility as Honorary President of TAG Heuer! Together with Jean-Claude Biver and Catherine Eberle he brought the Vintage Heuers back to life! I would also like to mention Jeff Stein, Abel Court, Nic Green, Arno Haslinger, Jonathan Scatchard and all the Heueristas in the world for keeping the legacy alive!

Very interesting video. Thank you JJ for your history lesson on your family and Heuer watches. History is so important nowadays whether it be family history or business history. To much these days history is not discussed or taught. Thank you so much! God bless.

Excellent! If I may be so bold, may I ask Herr Jean-Jacques if what I've heard is true- that It was a Heuer watch that was the first to be made specifically for an automobile dashboard, and was placed in a Rolls Royce Silver Ghost in 1911?

I wish I'd been handy when JJ discarded that Rolex ... right in line behind David. Radium Girls the movie hits home for me - a lot of those dials were painted about 40 miles (call it 60km) from my house. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radium_Girls

Now that is interesting…if you’d been born a hundred years earlier, you might have been a radium girl!

@@DavidHarperAntiques Doubtful. My parents are New Jersey refugees.(LOL) 100 years earlier I'd have been a farm wife or similar, or helped run a blacksmith's shop.
