This will help the wheel turn to lower the boat in water, I didn’t realize that’s what it is to fix this having same problem almost harder to crank boat down then up outa the water

Is this a standard tap size for all Hewitt boat lift wheels? My hole stipped out and a 3/4" pipe was big and 1/2" pipe was too small. I was trying to figure thread size. My wheel is home but lift is 50 miles away.

Thanks for the question. All Hewitt winch wheels use 7/8" 9-thread per inch.
