The farm works but not too well. I have stragglers that just wander around and don’t care about the villager, maybe if the water area was bigger it would work better?

this was not made in 1.21. when you killed the pillager you got ominous effect not bottle

Yes either you have to find a pillager outpost or wait till any pillager boss comes near you.

you have to build this in a flat surface with almost no trees like plain biomes, pillagers will sometime spawn on top of the tree and it will not work, its either you have to build in another locations or break some trees
