Jellymon Hybrids was a really interesting pile a while back. Also a funny counter to Apocalymon.

Nice video! As a matter of fact im using a pair of hexeblaumon in my blue flare deck, to great effect, since it helps with some troublesome matchs for the deck (mother D reaper/shot, bugs, etc)
@kevinski-tcg2 ай бұрын
Iceclad defeating a lot of troublesome decks like that by game mechanic is a massive win. Blue just can't reach the DP thresholds needed to beat decks like that otherwise. It works very nicely in Blue Flare because people will often just spam tamers while building a big stack in the back. This helps you deny them even more resources.

I am HYPED for the new Machinedra support. Some absolute upgrades for the Lv5s, and the BT19 Machine is sick.

I do enjoy the new take on Machinedramon and I think it'll be a breath of fresh air over the aging cyborg build.

And then revelation that webnovel brings that freezing knight was literally the hexabluemon that shoto was facing because a wild bluecomon hacked the npc for context the rouge Npc are literally the digimon they use in the deck

Off topic but what is your opinion on digi burst making a come back ad apparently the new sunrizamon line from what been revealed has a digi burst mechanic
@kevinski-tcg2 ай бұрын
I was so excited when I saw the new Sunarizamon. I hope it's ACTUALLY Digi Burst and not a weird rehash like they did for Material Save on the new Shoutmon X4 and X5. GIVE US THE ACTUAL KEYWORD. I just hope the new top end is worth the very heavy cost, without immediately breaking the mechanic. And of course, I hope we have some way to reload sources from the trash.

What are your thoughts on the revealed Ice-Snow support in EX-8? Do you have any predictions for the new level 4 and 3 that are bound to finish Skadimon's line and will it be enough to possibly propel Hexeblaumon and his archetype forward becoming more than just a generic top end to other more successful decks?
@michaelliggett16222 ай бұрын
Officially bandai actually want you mix hexablumon and skadimon line as the character from the webnovel uses both archetypes in the same archetypes

I think the splash of yellow mechanics is cool, and the ability to get some limited swarming will help too. But I still feel like the deck is a little too slow compared to everything else. I'm hoping that the new Tommy Hybrid support will make Hexe stick. But then, I am biased.
@nobo61622 ай бұрын
@@michaelliggett1622 I am aware and fully intend to but I am curious about what possible effects the rest of the line that remains unrevealed will possibly have. What are some predictions and I'm also curious if anyone believes that it will grant the deck some meta relevancy as a whole rather than Hexeblaumon alone.
@kevinski-tcg2 ай бұрын
They are definitely pushing the idea of the "Ice-Snow" toolbox since a lot of cards now have the Trait or rule text to make them such. I'm iffy on whether or not it'll work though. Source strip was good when Blue Hybrids made it their thing, and it's a nice splashable mechanic via things like Zudomon ACE, but we haven't seen decks where it's the main mechanic really doing that well.
@nobo61622 ай бұрын
@@kevinski-tcg that's a fair take. While the new Tommy hybrid stuff does look interesting the digivolution costs just seem so expensive for a deck as you have already mentioned is rather slow. I am really liking the idea of yellow and the various options that it gives us. I feel that while we can hault aggression as a deck we struggle heavily when it comes to removal and I feel that yellow can help remedy some of that

Huh, yeah... A surprising amount of design overlap. Both are basically turn stalls with very limited ways to get around them.

@@kevinski-tcg I hope that they make colour based stun level 6s for all the colours. As long as they're not overtuned I think they'd make for really interesting secondary boss monsters. Something like digimon under certain dp for red/green for example, would be neat to see in the game
@kevinski-tcg2 ай бұрын
@@NeedingNewName Totally doable. Technically black has one in BT13 Alphamon, which prevents high playcost Digimon from attacking directly. Green must have one already, with a board-wide suspend all and unsuspend lock, right?
@NeedingNewName2 ай бұрын
@@kevinski-tcg for black if they had an archetype all about reducing/increasing playcost, similar to bt17 cargodramon, that would be really unique and interesting. Something where they had a top end that had an effect like: all turns: digimon with playcost lower than this digimon cannot attack the player directly
