Vikemon, a good and generic lvl 6, also it works very well on Blue Flare ;)

Unfortunately it does EXTREMELY WELL in Blue Flare lol. Honestly, Blue Flare accomodate pretty much every Blue ACE card quite well, and I hate it 🤣

I want to make a darkknightmon so bad but I just can't justify that promo. It's sad xros decks have been my favorite to play. I'd love to make darkknight/bagra but it's just so expensive!

You can get by without it, or with just 2 copies, but I know what you mean. I’ve got my copies, but I gotta shuttle them back and forth between Bagra Army and DarkKnightmon because they are too expensive now. I appreciate Bandai trying to fix old decks, but playable promos are a sin.

Due to the fact were getting xross wars manga digimon in a future set including zeedmilliumon where most likely getting new support for darkknight as it played a big role in the manga

@@kevinski-tcg I'm not familiar with the manga either. But I know there are still unused forms from it. It's only from a videogame I think, but I know there is a form where darkknightmon/skullknightmon takes over Shoutmon x3 and I would love some darkknightmon support based on that for the xros heart cards. That could be cool.

I mean, I obviously love them, but I understand the concern to a degree. I’ve dabbled in Yugioh on and off for years, and can admit that generic boss monsters there have been a net negative. What’s your concern with them in Digimon? Do you feel they’re already getting out of hand?

​@@kevinski-tcg I dont like it aesthetically for two reasons: - Random colored boss monsters are put in decks, creating these nasty many-colored decks without any proper reason. - Often these cards are totally unrelated to the proper goal of the deck i.e. why are there 4 shine greymon and an omnimon mode in my numemon deck?? And game balance wise it is close to the second aesthetic reason: why are there KEY cards, that are that good that they are worth including in so many decks, although they have nothing to do with the actual gameplan? Also shoots up prices for these cards, decreases deck diversity and the like ...

I mean, I don’t so much mind the splashes of colour. I’m working on a D-Brigade list that has just about every colour and they kinda work because they are techs to deal with some problems in BT15. I do have an issue with some of the Level 7s as you pointed out. Cards like Deathxmon, Quartzmon, and ShineGreymon Ruin Mode are a little too generic, and while they are supposed to be hard to get into, we have enough decks that cheat the materials out. Numemon is a good example as you said. You can make just about every Level 7 in that deck, and they all work. And of course, when these cards become that accessible in-deck, it is gonna raise the prices a lot. Look at Zwart Defeat-it shot up again once people remembered how easy it is to use in BT15 decks. It’s worse in the case of cards like Ruin Mode that start to feel mandatory AND have very limited printings.

I hate it to just from a practical standpoint. I'm pretty new to the game, but I hate that every deck has to have one of 4 cards to be considered good. Quartzmon, omni, deathex, and shinegrey ruin. Not only does it annoy me as a new player because I wasn't around to get them, and since they are shoved into every deck they are outrageously expensive. But it honestly just seems so lame and bland. I also completely agree with what you said about aesthetics. Why would a megagargomon turn into a quartzmon it's just frustrating.

I get the aesthetics argument to a degree, but it is somewhat lore justified. Digimon dont have hard evo lines like Pokemon, and in the Digimon World games, you can turn your little dudes into just about anything. That said, I definitely feel for newer players, because things like the generic Level 7s, consistency options, and staples like BT3 Davis are getting absurdly hard to find, and they only get better as the game introduces more routes to access and abuse them. We did get reprints of some Omnimons, but in fairness, they were pretty irrelevant at the time that happened,
