Welcome back! Yeah, I ended up switching from Shadowdark to OSE myself. The campaign I was running was really wilderness-heavy, and I found myself adding extra rules left and right. Plus, one of the key features, torches and real-time tracking, kind of fell by the wayside (no pun intended). Don’t get me wrong, I like the system, but it just wasn’t the best fit for what I was trying to do. That’s on me. My first foray into OSE was a small dungeon crawl playing solo, and ive got something else running with some friends, but its all 'zero prep' and just running with the tables and the story is emerging from there, but now that I have a bit of a feel for things I think I will reboot that campaign and honestly, i think it will run far better.,
