it was a while back now but i think this might have been around 30 hours. the build kept changing and needed fixes to allow progression but the guys at marmoset are awesome and hadfixes up and running so fast.

I used an i5, 16bg ram, nvidia 1050. This ran really well and was the first hexels to break 150+ layers. Had to get the devs to up the layer max. Loved every minute.

hey, sorry I didnt see this as I re-post on my own channel. about 60 hours I think. The software went through quite a few changes as I was creating the image. My feedback helped make the process easier. So it would be much easier/quicker to do now. thanks :)

The new pixel art feature seems to be broken: I chose a color, create a pixel layer and try to paint something. I do get the cursor with the white circle, however it doesn't paint anything.

the beta gets updated quite quickly. make sure youre up to date. the final build will be amazeballs.
