Also this game is in fact hard as balls. With prodigious note-taking I've managed to get into the upper 20s of rounds on easy and to 12 on hard before getting absolutely crushed. Melee units are fun but man does it feel like you need to scale but get 1 card per day that can offer you arrow tower damage and two upgrades to a spell...... Maybe the spells are good though idk. terrifying to take multiple\

@@shakacienI've tested some weird strategy, it works. To maximize damage and combos, at the beginning of a game decide to keep a ground lane and a water lane, close all others (each closing requires 3 tiles usually, patience needed, but it always works). This should take it past day 20. The 2 remaining lanes should have switchbacks, and portals at steady intervals, again in order to maximize damage. I'm also using tiles with houses to build an area, if running gold buildings. The wonder for gold or stars on killings is broken atm.
