While I’ve never repainted a typical toy-style doll, you, Moonlight Jewel, and Dollightful have inspired me to create my own doll for actual play by children. I’m a mother who’s been drawing, painting, and sculpting for years. And I’ve been interested in doll face paints for about 4 years now. And I’d love to make my own custom dolls for my daughter to play with. I already have it 3D printed and a few casted and waiting for a makeover!! So this couldn’t have come at a better time!

Another good place to get brushes are actually Warhammer/miniature stores- the brushes are super fine and usually a decent quality. Warhammer brand stuff is also pretty accessible at hobby shops.

For spraying MSC with the wind: Yeah, def a good idea! What i do is I first push the button very lightly to give the quickest, smallest spray possible, just to see which way it blows. Then I turn myself into appropriate direction with the wind and actually spray the doll.

Trying to go for a Sylvanas Windrunner look from World of Warcraft and so far been practicing on blank doll heads i got from Amazon. If you don’t want to waste your watercolour pencil too much you should get this Japanese sharpeners that you can adjust, they basically focus on making the tip sharp without making it narrow and long so they have less chance of braking😊.

Maybe Hextian can do a repaint WITH cracks from the MSC as part of the doll's look?? I think it might give the doll a whole new effect of some kind, instead of drawing on cracks. (Its just a thought btw, I know nothing about that stuff 😆)
