They don't have to wear showy costumes, or act sexy. They just feel the music. I have never watched anyone so light on their feet. Makes you feel like you are right there with them. That is the first thing I noticed, too. Nils is clearly the focus in this dance with his footwork and white socks. Bianca has only a plain black dress and drab green shoes for some reason. But she is cute and has a beaming smile! Lots of great tricks in this routine.

I lost my sweetheart of 56 years four years ago. This dance reflects our love for each other to such a degree that I cry every time I watch it and I have probably watched it 1 million times! What I don't like about Nils is that he wants to take the center stage instead of giving the lady the appropriate framework. A professional dancer would always have a look on it tp do that! It looks like the lady is a means to an end and doesn't matter otherwise. What a shame, if he took hisself something back, the performance would be much better. I would be interested in how Nils is as a person. In real life, these people are actually often narcissistic personalities.

Think he is a real neat person expressing his joy when dancing in such perfect movement with the music and when his partner does the same they become one great team together. Nils is a good ‘leader’ when he dances with his partners and the ladies seem to adore him having lots of fun too... That’s my take, - love watching these videos, they make you feel so good inside...😀 💃🏽🕺💕

@@james7149 Hi James. Thank you for your comment. The great thing about my era of dance was that it was fun, just like when you watch Nils and Bianca, we all had smiles on our faces. Now when I watch kids dancing it is soooo complicated that they frown all the time as they try to remember what to do next. I count myself very lucky to have been born in the 30`s, as the 30`s and right up to the early 50`s was the era of "Big Band Music" and they were so easy to keep time to, if your ears worked, you could not go "Out of Step" with the music.

@@terrywright7470 Hi Terry, a valid point you make regarding modern dance and young cultures...I see the difference that people back in the big band days connected with each other...these days dance brings on the young ones keeping to themselves while dancing...sometimes they have the look on their faces of: “What am I doing here?”😉 I live in northern Tasmania and by the 1950’s my relatives had formed a family band. They’d travel the local country towns, play dances at the halls in these towns. This brought locals together, they’d catch up, maybe new romances began, but overall it was a wonderful way for communities to connect. For all the wonders of the internet, the price we’re paying is that our youth are losing the ability to communicate, face to face or certainly by the act of dancing...perhaps Nils and Bianca demonstrate that their wonderful forms of dancing will always be around, maybe even have a resurgence?
