Pixies got so much out of so little. Totally parsimonious playing, but with a huge sound. Thanks for the lesson- like a lot of folks here, this a favorite of mine. PS: Every time I see your white Strat, it makes me think of Michael Karoli of Can. Hint, hint.
@acpg3 жыл бұрын
Yes, I'm sure Michael Karoli was at the back of my mind when I decided I wanted a white Strat! Been toying with the idea of a Can lesson for a long time. It might happen. The difficulty is that their music is mostly all about the magical interaction between those 4 musicians rather than specific guitar parts. But I think there are a few tracks that might work as guitar lessons.

As always, I love your tututorials. I love your cats tails wagging in the background, as I sometimes use them as a Metronome :) This might be a bit out of character music wise, but would it be possible to show a tutorial on lead parts for Harper Valley PTA by Jeannie C. Riley? I"m not so worried about the sound, as I know its a dobro or something, as I may be able to get close with the katana amp and lead guitar. But I sincerely would appreciate it. Thank you :)
@terrorbirds983511 ай бұрын
You are already amazing but it would be even more amazing if you touched on the songwriting a bit - you teased it here when you talked about if the chords started with the G or Bm. Maybe address why certain non diatonic chords might be in a song (just watched one of your Cramps lessons where I had to scratch my head over that for a while for example) etc. thanks 🙏
