We have the same problem in upstate New York and can't seem to get service in any reasonable time.. First, they only work on bikes in the summer (you know the main riding season).No Winter service. Then in the summer you will hear that the have xx number of people ahead of you. I didn't buy the thing to have it set in the shop for half or more of the riding season. I like the bike cut cant say the same for the service.

I understood it to be a high revving issue in your other video, and they say a muffler fixed it? maybe i misunderstood the original problem.

Hey Mike, Hope you had a great group ride. Just got back from Northern New Mexico to Colorado. Rode in the rain a lot, used the seat and hand warmers quite a bit, they made the trip more comfortable. Just turned over 2100 miles on my 22 RTL. Always enjoy riding. Be careful and safe out there.

You’re lucky. I had an issue with the left hand multifunction switch on my 2018 RT. It would not manually down shift, I could not manually shift into Neutral, and the parking brake would sometimes lock up. I took it to the dealership and they advised the whole module needed to be replaced. That was on Oct 19th of 2021. I got my bike back in April of 2022. Of course this was at the height of the pandemic combined with the global supply chain chaos on electronic components coming out of Asia and that ship getting stuck in the Suez Canal. Thankfully for me, living in the Pacific Northwest, the situation gave me a good place to store it for the winter. LOL.

Hi Greg...I had that very same thing happen on my 2018 F3....It happened in the summer of 2021. I lost the ability to manually downshift and also lost reverse...as you said, the whole control module had to be replaced. I think that was also the year my parking brake motor also needed replaced. Wow...the dealer sure had your RT for a long time but you got to store it for the winter so that is a BIG win!

I know EXACTLY how you feel!!! I traded my Suzuki Boulevard in on a 2011 Spyder RT on July 8, 2022. one week later on July 15 the speedometer display went out on it. They said the part wouldn't be available until October 19th.. when I called on the 19th to see if the part had been shipped, they said it was pushed back to November 16th... on that day they told me it wouldn't be available til sometime in March!!!! I talked to BRP about it and they said they were experiencing material shortages. I told them "Funny, you don't seem to be having any shortages when it comes to building and selling new machines"!!! If they're going to sell bikes they should make sure they have the ability to fix them when they break down. It's ridiculous that I'm paying for a bike that I can't ride!!!!

Yea... that seems to be an issue. Even when I called other dealerships... they said the wait would be long due to the lack of techs.

I like your videos 😊I have a 200cc scooter just starting righting one last early fall. I went with a scooter for the reason I am older and can’t swing over a motorcycle any more back trouble. Love how easy it is to ride.

Mine had a couple of issues...my experience could have been better... but all in all i love the bike.

Glad they swapped that muffler for you...yes, that is what they should have done...have fun on your 1st group ride! I know the grips are warmer on the RT vs. the F3....I have only one setting...

I got my 2022 RTL RED in July and after 1200 miles they are installing the second motor..it's been at the dealer since October so I can understand what you are going thru...good luck

Isn't the incompetence of many businesses today maddening? Here it was a Can-Am dealer, but you will find this business behavior in almost any trade area...just not acceptable! Glad to hear your issue is solved, at least for now! Stay safe!

The muffler is held on by a exhaust clamp in the front and a stud nut in the back. Grade school mechanics my guy. Should take less than ten minutes to replace if you have a powered ratchet. Sorry you got screwed by that shop.
