Well done MVG. Def thought Price was gonna pull it out with Mike missing the doubles but that scoring was ruthless. Big uo the pair of em ! So happy to see mvg bk where he belongs, he has changed darts more than Taylor has ! No doubt Taylors achievements will never be beat but mvg has made the best 32 in world consistently hit ton averages as run of the mill and 9 darters a normal thing ! These players have had go get to this standard to compete with mvg and even surpass him for 2 seasons but the man is pure class and found his way bk . Taylor beat players in finals who be lucky average 90 and the way the game has evolved since mvg took over is crazy and for that the man needs all the credit in the world ! Remember when Taylor would lose he would throw toys out pram but mvg in last 2/3 difficult seasons never blames anyone but himself and remains gracious in defeat! I gotta add the way price dealt with this goes to show his true colours and the crap with Anderson that masked him for years just needs forgetting ! Price is a massive part of darts future !

the sportsmanship and the mutual appreciation for a good match makes this sport so likeable. but im afraid it'll become less and less the more popular the sport becomes and the more young ambitious players will take over. what we see now with 30, 40 year old characters playing on main stages, giving each other a smile and a hug is probably the last remnant of "old" darts. enjoy it while it lasts. 10 years i say.

There isn't a single youthfull player in the PDC player that has bad behavior to be honest. There are many bigger sport like tennis and F1 were the competitors respect each other a lot. Verstappen frequently jokes with other drivers and they all have a goods time between competition. There will always be some rivalry which is normal.
