Hi I’d like to ask about the rent fee, compared to apaato, is this more expensive or equal? How much is the average apaato rent fee in Osaka? Thank you in advance!:)

To be honest I don't really search about apaato, so idk about the average fee. This dorm monthly fee is about JPY 60,000. But it also depends on which type of unit ur taking ^^

It's the most expensive option of the OU Dorms, about 600,000 Yen per month. Not cheap! Edit: 60,000 yen

@@Pungkuttotok no your thinking about 60,000 yen. 600,000 is $5,499.33 in US currency but it looks like this person put the wrong thing because the creator of this video stated that she says 60,000 yen a month

@@TheOuss121 60,000 yen not 600,000. 600,000 is roughly 5.5k. 60,000 yen isn’t expensive at all especially in the US. People would kill to spend that much on rent as ours normally go into the thousands whether your living by yourself or not.

Not sure if you ended up deleting the comment where you called me stingy but regardless it wasn't appreciated. All I mentioned was that it's the most expensive option of the *Osaka University* Dorms in general. And no, I really don't consider living with 7 to 11 roommates for that much money being cheap whatsoever. Not everyone lives in the US so perhaps work on keeping a more open mind if you go to Japan. I would rather spend ~$300 for a Single Room dorm at Toyonaka that is right on campus, or hell, even a ~$150 Single Room at Tsukumodai.

And, secondly is it going to be too expensive to study n live there for international students who come from a middle class family? Hi!! For your first & last question, I think you might have to do your own research because I'm just an exchange student at OU so I don't really know about that. As for living costs, I think it will be different for each person. Compare to my country, Japan's cost of living is much higher, so of course, I consider it to be expensive to study & live there. 😉💓
