Amazing song and even better performance! I was wondering, how do you get your hand to just hover above the strings (fingerpicking hand) my hand always tends to automatically want to put my palm above the strings. I can still play, but I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong and if it might hinder me in the future. (I only recently started getting into fingerstyle guitar) Thanks if you respond! Will just learning fingerstyle covers and practicing different - different one of them make us rearrange songs someday by our own rather can focusing on scales ? I'm a singer songwriter and usually play a lot of cover songs in my gig's, just realized that playing just the rhythm over the guitar and singing along isn't very unique, so I'm practicing fingerstyle covers of the songs that I have in my set list, thinking that if I sing and play the same note at a time it might sound great to the listener, though at times there is a 19-20 in synchronizing (vocal and the guitar) and it takes a lot of efforts too, so should I continue with this hard working idea of mine or should I simply look for the key of a song and play arpeggios and rhythm while performing ?

The capo changed the chord shapes to make it much easier to play. You can't play it like this without the capo
