Hi Lisa! I’m so sorry to hear about your wrist injury, I suffer the same problem over and over again and it’s very frustrating. I love your new format, don’t be nervous. You did great lol. I did want to mention since I have such issues with my wrists, I recently purchased an LK 150 knitting machine. I loved it so much. I bought two more and I’m using those to help alleviate all the wrist movement. It really is like a different craft and I will warn you it is addicting, but I just thought I’d mention it because I really wasn’t aware of it until recently, I only had the circular knitting machine which I can only make so many hats, and I really wasn’t grasping how to make flat panels on it. Anyhow, it was good seeing you and I hope you continue to heal! Xoxo

Oh, that’s a great thought! I’ve never really considered a knitting machine, but I’ve started to see some people knit the stockinette bodies of their sweaters on them, and it’s so cool! Thanks for watching. ❤️

I'm glad you are feeling better after your knitting pain woes. Rest is the best medicine. And then we swear never to do that to ourselves again. Where we end up having to stop knitting for some time because we overdid it (whether that is volume or yarn composition or tight gauge or a combination). I always felt that way about running. I love running. But i dont want to overdo my running so that I have trouble walking. I am cool with whatever you name your channel. I will be watching. I started watching you with And Sew On years ago and loved what you brought to the sewing community. It has been so enjoyable to watch you grow in your knitting as well. You have a beautiful creative flair. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to seeing more. All the best with your daughter going over to Ireland for college. Lisa good to see you again! I hope your injury has healed and you are able to work on your wips. I have subscribed to your channel for quite a while now and I am always interested in your videos. I am a sewer/knitter/crafter and I initially found you for sewing and was envious of your ability to knit so quickly. I have made a few Getting Warmer cowls after first seeing yours back in early 2020. None of mine look like yours but I realized I must be a much tighter knitter lol. I had knit 3 sweater patterns (1 cardigan and 2 tees) this past winter/spring and I was very pleased with them I but I took a break from knitting after finishing them and just picked up my Cosy Comfort Throw that I have been using leftover yarns held double with some of my Knitcrate skeins. Right now the weather has been extremely warm and humid in Atlantic Canada so I have been doing more sewing/crafting instead of knitting. I am excited for you as you start to teach in the fall and will continue to follow along with your knitting journey (although I do miss your sewing videos). Take care!! Brenda

Hi Lisa! I have a unraveling question. I watched your videos on salvaging yarn from thrifted sweaters and i immediately headed to Goodwill! Came home with what I thought was perfect. It’s a wool cardigan. Love the yarn…but it seems to have button holes that are really really stitched so much so that i can’t tell if the holes were cut after being stitched. i also do not detect a seam indicating a sewn on button band. it seems (i’m not sure though) that the edge was just folded over and sewn down and then button holes sewn on to the hem like as if it were fabric not knit. Is that a thing? if so doesn’t that mean i will not be able to unravel this because i will have a lot of short pieces? i wish i could show you what i mean…but hopefully you can picture what i mean.
@Lisamakes
