Folks, ever noticed the instrument Spock was carrying and using? It also was the very same instrument Lt. Uhura was using in the episode Conscience Of The King when she sang the song Beyond Antaries to Kevin O'Riley.

Its rather late for a reply but that's called a Vulcan Lyre. Apparently L.T. Uhura was proficient with it as well.

Charles Lewis Napier (April 12, 1936 - October 5, 2011) was an American character actor known for playing supporting and occasional leading roles in television and films. He was frequently cast as police officers, soldiers, or authority figures, many of them villainous or corrupt. As far as Star Trek Episodes widely regarded as less than stellar, "The Way to Eden" is obviously one of my all-time personal favorites. If anyone ever wants to know which episode was the "worst of the series", all they have to do is sit through the first two acts of "Spock's Brain" to admit it's so bad, it's almost too hard to finish watching it all the way through to the end.
@danbasta36775 жыл бұрын
Agree with you, although Spock's brain wasen't the very best, sure beat the hey out of And The Children Shall Lead, That Which Survives, Let That Be Your Last Battlefield, Is There In Truth No Beauty and Turnabout Intruder. Those five were the pitts. Rest of the third season was good to average good.
@Chanticlair473 жыл бұрын
Yes that episode ( Spock’s Brain ) sucked also. As a matter of fact I did not like most of the third season. The only episodes in Season 3 that I liked was The Tholian Web and All Our Yesterdays.....other than that they all sucked.
@therig423 жыл бұрын
@@Chanticlair47 The best thing about Spock's Brain episode was the view screen shots. It was the first time actual rear projection was used on the main viewing screen allowing the actors to walk in front of it while keeping the star field moving and putting the Sigma Draconas system schematic on so the actors could fully react and relate to it and the moving starfield. Very ambitions for 1968, first episode filmed for the 3rd season. Up until then the moving view screen shots had been added in during post production.
