Do you really not remember Rachel's mom from previous episodes? 😂 In one of the early seasons, the gang had two parties at the same time in both apartments because Rachel's mom and dad were divorcing. Remember Joey kissed her in the hallway? 😂😂 She also had one of the best lines of the entire series, "You didn't marry your Barry. I did."

I just had my own baby two long weeks ago, and am struggling with my own "terrible mother" thoughts. I love my baby so much, am absolutely terrified of screwing up, and am slowly and painfully getting back to myself after the C-section. That part where you insisted that someone in the audience farted was the hardest I've laughed in a while.

Congratulations on the birth of your baby. At the start it can feel hard, but please remember that you are not a terrible mother. The fact that you said you love your baby so much, already tells me that you are a great mother. I know the days and nights can feel hard and long, but please talk to yourself infront of a mirror or just in your head, saying I am a great mother, I can do this. This mindset will help you out so much. Don't worry about screwing up, because as parents we just learn as we go along and all a baby needs at the end of the day is your love, patience and kindness. We've seen Rachel's mom before in the show, when u rewatch the show u will be SO suprised for the amount of episodes that.... I mean u will get a flashback or something coz i know there's a lot of eps that u dont even remember so when we rewatch the show its like a whole new experience to us... And a nostalgic one 😭, boy I remember when I watched the show for the 1st time and rewatch it was SO GOOD like idk... I need a hug

Rachel's mom is played by the amazing Marlo Thomas of "That Girl" fame, wife of Phil Donahue, and one of the great feminist (and fashion!) icons of the 1970s. Nowadays she's the national outreach director of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which her father, the great Danny Thomas, founded.
