And just like that. On a rainy Sunday evening in May. Eleven years later under a state of emergency in Nova Scotia i feel like i bumped into my 19 year old self clicking on this video. Like we're stopped on Robie street in Halifax at 7am. Im lighting him a cigarette and reminding him that hes got his whole life to live! Revisiting all kinds of things the last 12 months.. and Hey Rosetta was (is?!) certainly a part of my life on the east coast

This was my first glimpse into the masterpiece we knew as Hey Rosetta. Then I became a big fan. I still remember the sadness that took hold of my heart the day I learned they disbanded. I wasn't so convinced at first, but just give it a few moments and it becomes this beautiful masterpiece, live sound, unplugged, from upstairs to downstairs , to the kitchen , living room, then parlor....it really is a great video.....I'm proud to say as a singer songwriter myself that the island of Newfoundland has so much undiscovered talent...Hey Rosetta are being discovered these last few years and I hope they reach the top !!!!!!!!!!!
