Can't believe this was in my feed the first thing! Love the 24-inch tires for a foldable e-bike but wished they included a torque sensor along with it for a higher price which I won't mind. The Hovsco Hovbeta is still the king of folding e-bikes to me due to its powerful 750-watt motor combined with its torque sensor as a Class 3!

How do you like the thumb throttle? I'm a former motorcyclist, so that twist throttle is what I'm used to
@ABoringTool8 ай бұрын
@@stacyjaye6350 I learned there's a special technique with the thumb throttle where you roll the edge of your thumb onto it rather than pressing down onto it like a button. Once I got the hang of that I found it's really fun to use in technical bits where the cadence sensor is cumbersome. It's also nice to pin it in class3+ mode and see the motor output peak at 1300w for a few seconds

I’ve noticed you don’t talk about price? That’s one of the most important thing to me when buying a new e vehicle. Great videos as always boys!
@freshlycharged8 ай бұрын
We occasionally talk about price if it’s something out of the ordinary. The problem with talking about $$$ is the price fluctuates so quickly and often, that the information becomes outdated.

The Mars 2.0 just came out with a 1000w motor option. Would love to see that on the horizon. Would it be costly to upgrade the front suspension and derailer? Maybe they will do it in a 2.0 release
@thomaswilson35476 ай бұрын
They also need to slap in a 48 volt 20 ah Samsung battery, upgrade to a bigger headlight and taillight and this bike will be the cream of the crop with its 24 inch wheels. I think they should change the name of the whole company to Horizon and stop with these chinglish ebike brand names.

It's advertised as a horst link suspension but is not. It's also a pneumatic shock in the rear.

Linkage driven pivot is still better than the single pivot or seat post suspension most bikes have at this budget, but yeah wish they didn't advertise horst link

It's probably just a pet peeve for you guys, but the fact that the display is showing off could take about 200 years to drain that battery. Battery would drain naturally over time significantly faster that the drain from that screen.

We don't think it would be 200 years but it would be a slow drain. Just odd that it is draining power and lights can be turned on when it is off.

@@freshlycharged Haha well its not an argument that I am going to wade into with a lot of intensity but I am wearing a digital watch right now and I haven't changed the battery since 2019, and I can assure you that bike's battery is quite a bit larger. It's nice to see a folding bike with larger wheels though. I have a VItilan folding bike and what a lot of reviewers don't mention is simply that a lot of people don't live in houses and have a garage they can put a bike into. I live in an apartment and need to be able to fold it up otherwise it sticks out of my closet.

Hey guys - great review. Can you suggest any other similar 24" fat tire sized bikes with a torque sensor and step thru that you have come across? I'm thinking that size might be a bit easier for my wife ( 5'7" ) to learn on than one with a 26" tire. let me know if you think I'm wrong here. Are 20" fat tire bikes easier to learn on?
