EUC is the objectively best PEV from a purely engineering perspective. Significantly more efficient than an ebike or escooter. I hope one day they have a mainstream appeal.

totally agree, but I do find them very expensive for what they are, sure there is research and development that goes into this tech, which makes me think they're not gonna go mainstream until mid range wheels can hit the $1000-$1500 mark and with the recent +$3000 wheels that have come out within the past year I don't think its happening any time soon, too many companies are trying to up each other in voltage and giving no fxxks to people who don't need all that power :/

I waited until the L came out before making my decision between it or the L but ultimately decided on the Lynx. I preferred the looks of the lynx + the weight as i wanted a good all around wheel for both on and off road! I wouldnt mind having the L aswell for the additional range but honestly the Lynx range even at high speeds has been more than efficient for me and on the longer rides my fast charger is perfect just stop for lunch or coffee and back at it the rest of the day!! No regrets with my choice!!
@gatzmamora1178Ай бұрын
Great vid! Thanks for the review! I have to say though, for any wheel with a new tire or one that you haven't been riding for a long time, whether it be a new wheel, when you've switched tires on your existing wheel, etc, you MUST ride it on street and carve hard, which shapes the tire to the way that YOU ride and also gets rid of a lot of rubbing issues that people tend to have with new tires. Once you get a good 200 - 300 miles on street, riding hard, the tire will have shaped to your riding style and until then, it's just going to feel alien and be difficult to connect to. Try it out. In short, for every wheel you review, put 250 miles of hard street carving on it, then, if it feels routine or normal then, do a solid ride and review. That will help you and us to get solid feedback out of how the wheel performs for a long term rider.

I own an L. My major gripe is the charge port cover and I wish it came with a seat. Other than that it's perfect. I've ridden the lynx and I actually prefer the L. I have friends who also prefer the L over the lynx and wished they had gone that route and one of them did after owning a Lynx and never looked back. I also have another buddy who bought an L, but prefers the lynx. I think it's hilarious cuz he's the tallest and biggest out of all of us. over 6ft and about 260lbs.
@RTS_2008Ай бұрын
I currently ride a lynx and I love it, but I also really want an L. The only thing stopping me is just how similar both those wheels look on paper. On paper the L is basically just a heavier and longer ranged version of the Lynx, and part of me feels like it would be silly to own 2 wheels that are so similar to each other. However, I would really like a 2nd wheel to have as a backup and there really isn’t another wheel on the market besides the L that interests me.
@freshlychargedАй бұрын
It’s funny how what we like is subjective. Andrew hated the stock street tire but Gabe loves it. Andrew doesn’t mind the pedals and Gabe hates them.
@ed_boogieАй бұрын
@@RTS_2008 I own 2 wheels and I can understand the need for two wheels in case one needs work. I can say from experience that the Lynx and the L feel different in terms of ride feel. My friends who own the Lynx like the stability of the wheel and are more comfortable at high speeds and at the same time they always comment about how they have range anxiety with the Lynx which the L would remedy. BUT $4480 plus accessories is a huge chunk of change and a big gamble if one doesn’t actually like the wheel. Hopefully you can get to test ride one.
@ed_boogieАй бұрын
@@freshlycharged very subjective lol. It’s good to know we do have options. Love the videos.
@RTS_2008Ай бұрын
@@ed_boogie I have no doubt that I would love the L. I have owned every veteran wheel (except the Abram’s) and have loved every single one. I just don’t know if I wanna put up $4500 plus accessories for another wheel that’s already quite similar to the one I currently ride and enjoy. On paper the L really isn’t THAT big of an upgrade over the Lynx, but having 2 very solid wheels like that in my quiver is tempting.

The turn signal works fine. For example, If you want to turn left, hug the right side make a slight turn to enable turn signal, then make your turn or lane switch.

Dude, the size of the tire is LITERALLY stamped on the side of it. You don't need a measuring tape to tell us how wide it is. It's an 80/90-14 tire, which works out to 3.15 inches. Also, there IS a seat kit, apparently, but I agree with you that if you're gonna pay $4500 for a wheel it should include the seat for free.

All EUCs should come with a seat as the standard. You would buy a motorcycle without a seat. At least for the larger, commuter, long range EUCs, a seat should be standard.

Id get the Sherman since it'll have more parallel groups in the battery so less voltage sag. I think Lynx is 4p(4 "groups" of 36 cells each) while Sherman L is 6p(6 " groups" of 36 cells each)

Here is a dark and serious two-part question for you, since you make videos wearing that helmet and have a track record of ignoring comments of 1000's of people telling you that the helmet is not safe for this sport...If a teenager buys that helmet after watching you, thinking that they are safe, yet ends up falling and getting permanent head injuries, what do you think the odds are that the father finds you and turns your family into ash and do you think the father will be justified in his actions after his boy is sitting in the hospital with a coma? (I do not have a kid...just thinking about the other people who watch you.)
