I just went past 3400 miles on my Mars a bike(12 months of riding). So if you’re wondering how long your motor is going to last mine is still going strong at over 3000 miles. The PAS settings 1-3 comes stock at 50% power 75% power and 100%. Or 10-14-20 mph. Personally 10 miles an hour is a little bit quick for me to jump off at the start . there is a setting to change PAS 1-3. To 1-5,1-7 and EVEN 1-9!! Different traffic patterns require adjustments to speed. Try 1-5 an set 1 at 30%. I think you’ll like it I’m just now experimenting with 1-9.

@@terrybeaver4208 you turn it on, press and hold the + and - keys to go to the hidden menu, find the pas tab, press the power key once, and then change the values. If it shows 0-3, 1-7, 0-7 etc, those are the power assist modes. Press the power key to confirm and then you can hold power key to return to original screen. This is how it is on a heybike cityscape we have. Hope that helps

Omni!! I’ve had my bike for a year now. I got 2500 miles out of the first set of tires. Total I just passed 3300 miles. The motor is still strong and quiet. There is a setting to change from PAS 1-3. To 1-5,1-7,1-9!! I find jumping off at 10 miles an hour or 50% power is way too fast. If you’re sticking with one through three try 33% 66% and 100%. Different traffic patterns require different speeds. I enjoyed one through five a great deal. I recently started experimenting with the PAS 1-9. It’s standard settings walk you through the speeds very slowly and you can adjust to any other rider or any traffic pattern

@@andreromero3331 It will help if you want to put lots of effort into pedaling. I would not do it just to increase speed as the effort will be short lived. @andreromero3331 - I understand what you are getting at since as I received mine, its set up more for trail riding and with the derailleur set to 7 the fastest I can comfortably pedal is about 15 MPH so to hit the 20 to 25 MPH the bike should be capable of you'll have to be pedaling at an impossibly fast rate so basically you won''t be able to provide any range extending pedal assist for very long and will basically be in throttle only mode at speeds over 15 MPH. I'm seriously considering changing the sprocket ratio to allow you to be more reasonably providing some pedal assist at speeds over 15 MPH. Best!

We just got back from a ride, my husbands minis button started sticking, as he was pressing plus and minus a P came up in the PAS box and it started moving forward by itself, he grabbed the brakes and it stopped. Do you have any idea why the P means and why it would have started going on it’s own? He was able to make it happen a second time, but not again after that. I wanted to record what was happening and send it to HeyBike but he couldn’t recreate it after the second time.
@RVEnthusiast
@RVEnthusiast Жыл бұрын
Yes the plus and minus button pushed at the same time will bring up the program mode (P). if the minus was sticking and he hit the plus you would cause the (P) mode to come up. It was scrolling because the minus button was stuck. If you got it unstuck you are most likely all good. If it continues you may have to figure a way to figure out how to stop the sticking.

HeyBike is not the manufacture, they are a reseller under private label HeyBike! They have no control over inventory. They just put in an order for ? How many they want. You may notice on there web site, many support items are not available. Thing like the saddlebags fit very poorly and those long loose straps, in my opinion are a hazzard. Well it is what it is and not what it is represented as!!!! Sorry about my rant.

I had this problem whenever I would be in an intersection waiting to take off. I would get nervous because I knew my slow starts would hold up traffic. Instead, I set it to 3 and then throttle my start. No pedal needed. Once I get going, my feet take over. I start this way every time now. Easy!
