I always respect your reviews, and I think a lot of us would be lost, without hope, if you didn't make these reviews, lol. And to tbh, if I was selling products, I would be nervous to send it to you, because I know you would find the flaw if I had made one. The issue with proprietary settings for me, is what if I want to use a lower layer height to reduce stepping lines? I can't, I'm stuck with 50um. Orientation is the most important thing to reduce stepping lines, but sometimes you can't avoid it everywhere on a model, and sanding can be impossible in a highly detailed area, so lowering um can be the only option to help you.

Why do you show all the models 3D printed on this machine with the supports on? Why never show the surface quality with the supports removed? This is crucial.
@wangdennys4 ай бұрын
I always show the same things on all printer review. It just never cross my mind cause i never rely on auto support.
@fluxcapacitor4 ай бұрын
Auto-support vs manual support is irrelevant to the question. Because whether you choose to support manually or automatically (BTW Blueprint is known to do the latter very effectively) or choose a presupported model, the same model with the same given support configuration will show very different traces (hence surface finish) after support removal, depending on the printer. This question is even more important on this specific printer as HeyGears advertises the PRM (Pulse Release Module), available as an expensive option, one of whose main functions s precisely to reduce the marks left after support removal.
@wangdennys4 ай бұрын
@@fluxcapacitor i do mention in the video i dont have the pulse release module So i cant test it Nope, not depends on the printer, it depends on the printer setting, And the support setting. But i agree, on this printer i should have check the support removal Since we cant customize the support and printer setting. But then again like i said, it never cross my mind when testing it. Cause i never and dont like to use auto support. But at least it works ok for beginner to have success print rather than fail print and wasting resin. I do believe other reviewer might have shown the support removal.
@fluxcapacitor4 ай бұрын
You just prove my point (for this machine) by saying that this particular printer doesn't allow us to tune the settings to improve the surface quality, hence it is very important to know the quality offered with the default fixed profile especially when removing the support (PRM or not). As for other reviewers, the problem is precisely that among all the hagiographic reviews I saw about this machine (the majority) none of them show the traces after support removal, while the few "meh" reviews do show the print quality on these surfaces. Go figure…
@wangdennys4 ай бұрын
Chill bro.. There is no award here. It is irrelevant at least for me to check the surface from support removal cause it is easy to "tune" Your own support on other slicer. All i can say is, it is not advisable to rely on blueprint or any slicer autosupport if you are experienced user and want perfect surface when removing support. Also i mention in the video, i support all the model on other slicer, and showing the support removal could be missleading, go figure... And if you want to see the support removal result using blueprint autosupport, you could have ask nicely like other commenters. No need to be hostile from the get go.

Great video, but you never show the support marks on your prints. Other videos, like those from Once in a Six Side and Isidon, clearly show that support marks are everywhere when using the automatic support function. You didn’t purchase your machine, and I find you a bit too lenient about it, while the other two tests I mentioned clearly show there are significant issues with support marks. Disappointed in you, especially since I thought I had finally found someone who had the same issues as me with the GKTwo.

Cause like i said in the video, there are plenty of stuff that i want to test with this machine And the video duration would be too long I will update on future videos any extra tests It is not my priority tests in this video cause i support most of the model myself using lychee.
