I love this young man's voice and I wish they would play this kind of music on the radio like they used to. At 30-35yrs as a musician myself, this gives me reassurance that guys like me, who grew up with and still sing those old songs, might not be a dying breed after all. Years of hard living and playing in honky tonks, has took its toll on me, but seeing this young guy singing this simple song, means the world to me. Love, love, Mo Pitney. First heard him on the Country Show that Bill Anderson emcees. His version of "Borrowed Angel" is better that the original, by Mel Street.. He is coming to my hometown of Shelby,N.C., along with Darryl Worley and Deborah Allen on Friday, May 3d at 8 pm- Don Gibson Theatre. I sure hope to be there. This young man deserves all the support he can get. What a voice!!!!

Why is there no demand for the steel? - a true fan of the steel & real country music. All these country bands and singers will have steel , then eventually drop the steel player. Josh ward, and John Wolfe both did that. Tracy Lawrence..no steel. Mark wills..no steel. It bothers me, steel is a big part of real country music to me.

Most probably havent heard of him, he needs to do what other singers do, and send a few copies to radio stations. When I was doing Community Radio we would often ask for singers to send us a copy of their cd. It is some of the best advertising they can get.

I don't listen to country radio anymore because of the direction change country music has taken. It's so far from traditional country music. I found Mo by accident. I am certainly glad I did. What an awesome talent. Great voice. Mr. Pitney has a new fan.
