@@BROOKSYIAmTheMusicMan No - I played at Mooroolbark for a short time, but DJ'd at the Hunters on and off for a couple of years. I knew most people you knew from the local soccer clubs, and Sunday nights during the season was where all the local poms would gather for a night out and a good laugh. I am from Yorkshire, but certainly not tall. I remember the bouncer who had it in for you - and remember seeing him a few years after you appeared on Hey Hey. He said he wanted to see you again and apologise for being an arse towards you. Still see some of the lads now and again at the Dorset Gardens on Saturdays - they have a Premier League tipping comp there and catch up for a bevvy or few!!

Yea it was so surreal at the time.. We really had no idea what was going on.. fresh faced poms on a show dressed to go out after expecting to be BONGED off straight away but the for Red to join in! even now sends shivers up my spine! Thanks Brooksy

The Music Men! Definitely one of Red Faces highlights. Who would have thought that Red Faces would ever have been a talent show? Love that Red joined in. Tribute to how great they were. Anyone else notice that Viktor Borger looks a little like an old Tom Hanks from certain angles? If ever they do a life story film on Viktor, Tom should definitely play him. (and maybe they could sneak the Music Men segment into the movie, too)

I swear it wasn’t red faces when I first saw these blokes on tv but I can remember me and my father just on the floor peeing ourselves with laughter and years later we still bring it up every so often. It’s one of the few things my father and I connect on and we still get a chuckle out of it. This also predates myself knowing who any of these people were of course so I was just laughing at the silly actions
