2023 BMW M4 COMPETITION REVIEW (It's Not Bad)

Currently in a 21 RS5 Sportback, but I’m about 90% sure I’m trading for a G80 M3 Comp. The front has grown on me and these cars are just monsters. Love yours!

Car is amazing. I just purchased the 2024 M4 Competition July 3 and am loving it. Really hugs the road, amazing power and very luxurious at the same time. The 2024 version has the iDrive infotainment system which is super cool.

I’d always had Nissans. Got a 2018 440i and tuned it to 418hp, now a 2020 m240i convertible tuned to 408hp. These cars just put a smile on your face when you get on it.

Car looks insane! Personally I’d have the carbon bucket seats too. They look crazy. For me the M3 touring is one of my dream cars..

I tried normal and carbon bucket seats. As good and nice cb seats are, they are very small in width. So for person with larger back is this no go. I would not be able to use it as daily, only for track. So normal seats with cooling are better match for daily.

Depending what state your in check out the dital license plate from reveier the black background with the white numbers and letters would look good with your color of your car.

I'm in the market for one of these and as much as the carbon fiber roof looks nice, I just love sunroofs more. I like to drive windows up with the sunroof open (I live in FL). It sounds stupid but i feel somewhat cluster phobic in cars without one.

This is a tiny and simple question.....underneath the headlight switch, is there a storage compartment? I've seen it but no one speaks about it on the M4 .....I think they took it off of the m440i coupe but just checking to see if the m4 retained it.....TIA

Hi Sai! I have been in confusion between this and the RS5 Competition! What are you thoughts of someone leaning more towards the RS5 Comp with the best spec rather than going for a base M4/M3? I need a well rounded daily. Even tho how perfect these G80s are I still feel RS5s are more practical and especially with their Comp option you do not miss a lot fun imo. Thoughts?

Oh and about those Continental tyres… they are so good that the BMW Performance Center uses them. So yeah… they chose them over Pirelli and Michelin

I had the 2023 M8 Competition Convertible and the brake dust was so ridiculous along with the wheel design being so ugly, I decided to sell it and buy a Porsche 911 Carrera S. Besides the wheel issue with my M8, it was a great car, but this Porsche is another level. Anyhow, good luck with your M4. I'm sure it has great performance. You just always have to get used to dirty brake dust wheels. LOL

Do you think the Driving Assistance Professional Package on the M4 is worth it?

I have it on my G80 and I'm very happy I got this option and recommend it. If you're stuck in traffic a lot, under 40mph the car will completely drive itself on its own. Very nice option if you're sitting in traffic a lot for 20 or more minutes daily. Another great reason is if you drive long distances a lot. Sometimes if I'm driving 3 or more hours I'll use it on the highway and it works great, car will drive itself, you just have to have literally a 1 finger on the steering wheel for it to stay engaged.

BMW M cars are super cool and fast. But, yeah the grills on these newer models are just 🤮. It actually looks decent in certain colors like black and dark blue M4 models. But, to be honest, the OG grills were better. They gotta fix those grills on the newer BMWS. But, other then that. Car design looks great from the back and everything else except the grills.

I would feel super nervous with that digital key in my cell phone. If you can open it that easy yourself, it's a matter of time when a thief will be able to hack & drive it away in a matter of 4 sec.

I tried to accept it, but I can't. Hideous car unfortunately. I think the M2 might be the move I have seen some aftermarket body kits that fix the proportions of the grill. You should look into the Autoid bumper.

Where do women like you come from?!?!?!? Most women seem to care less about cars, including my wife....lol...At least in my experience. I have to tell ya, I'm generally not into the shape of this car, but for whatever the reason that color you have on the exterior there seems to transform the look of the vehicle?!?!?!? It's weird. I also was horrified by that grill originally, but once again, with this exterior colour I don't seem to mind it for some strange reason. Pretty nice stuff Cheers

I went from AMG to M8 Comp. Merc has just been going down in quality. BMW is best value for money right now (2024 that is).
