Try putting a spoon bait on the end of the sabiki and cast it out and reel in like normal spoon fishing. The spoon will look like a bigger fish chasing small fish and a bigger fish will attack the spoon thinking the spoon is to distracted by the sabiki. So test it out and see. Little fish chased by bigger fish and so on. Also try making a slightly bigger bigger sabiki and see if you get bigger fish attacking the sabiki.

Try using a diamond jig or spoon instead of a weight for even more potential 🍻💪🏼 Slow retrieval if with a weight, fast if with the jigs

I have used Sabiki on the West Coast to catch baitfish... I tend to use a torpedo sinker rather than a pyramid sinker. IMO the pyramid is meant to hold on the bottom...

I am interested in how you prepare or cook your fish. You mentioned that you prepare blue fish, you stated that you make fish cakes. All of that would be interesting to see. Thank you sir.

Real question does your rig spool accommodate more than one rig at a time or is it better to have multiple for each individual rig you bring. Lol I've been using a cut off piece of pool noodle and need a better solution

When a fish has bitten the sabiki, don't crank in too quickly, as there are more fish that are hungry. Crank slowly and evenly, don't stop or everything will get tangled.
