The best part about this series is. THEY ENDED IT AS PLANNED. When the makers try to cash in the popularity they end up ruining the show. This show by far had the one of the best finale ever. And that is what makes it a great show. Trilogy was a great way to go. The pace just kept getting better and so it was really gripping. It is a great example for other makers to not over do it. Because the writing slackens when you try to stretch it beyond its original plan. Love it. It is absolutely one of the best shows ever made. This and black mirror.

This, they planned it as a trilogy and ended the show in the 3rd season and not stretching it. Endings can be changed. The script is always a work in progress as they film.

Unless you're blind and unable to read then you should always watch foreign language films with subtitles, with the actors' real voices, delivering the lines the way they intended them to be delivered. Never watch foreign movies/shows dubbed. It's lame. Plus it's fun to hear the other language. You can learn some of it while watching. I've already picked up random German words from watching this show. Watching all these episodes....it's the most German I've heard spoken in my entire life. :D It gives me a real sense of the language.

I watched the entire series and felt like I pretty much understood it. Decided to rewatch and took pictures of all characters, created family tree, flow chart and tracked all details for them all. Made me realize, I missed so much in the first watch. Second rewatch has me confident to say that I understand EVERY detail in this series now and to say it’s brilliantly written is not even enough of a compliment. It’s mind bending, complex and flows just beautifully and seamlessly. The story is on its own level of creativity and is truly in a league of its own, in ways of entertaining and captivating. It achieves a superior creative story telling experience, one of which has never been accomplished or achieved in any other series I’ve watched. To put it bluntly, it is thought provoking perfection! Thank you Dark for the extremely fun ride!

I just finished the third season. Absolutely loved the story, the world, the characters, and all the twists and turns. I'm very happy they kept it three seasons! An incredible story and not overdone, just the right amount of time. So happy I experienced this.
