So glad you included #6. That's a very important consideration. Using only one earpiece in actually cuts your -- perceived -- volume by more than half, which causes folks to turn it up to way more than damaging levels. Take care of your ears! It's the most valuable thing a musician has!

thanks for the yips. do you have a tip on what could be the cause of a change in the in ear mix when changing front house settings and never touching the in ear mix. its a mystery to me why this keeps happening

That doesn't sound right unless they are sending you a mix post fader which I'm not currently smart enough to know if that's even possible

Sorry one more...you mention the AS10s but the guys over at worship tutorials have started repping “WAVS Custom” monitors for $120!!!! That’s an INSANE price...I waited for YEARS to get custom molded relying on the old faithful Shure SE210s and went with Alclair Triples which cost me about $400 all-in...but definitely worth the investment!

$120 for any custom molded set is an absolute steal! I know guys who have spent $1200 on a single set of in ears. Crazy.

I know, I saw the WAVS custom stuff but haven't tried it yet. Custom molded stuff is def the way to go if you can afford it, and their stuff makes it attainable.
