Hezbollah Fires Dozens of Rockets at Israel in One of Its Largest Assaults Since the Gaza War
Lebanon-based Hezbollah fired numerous rockets at Israeli artillery positions in retaliation for Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon. This marked one of their largest assaults since the Gaza war began. The group confirmed the launch of Katyusha rockets at enemy positions in northern Israel and the Golan Heights. Sirens blared across Upper Galilee, prompting the Israeli military to engage incoming projectiles. The Israeli military reported 40 launches from Lebanese territory, with some intercepted and others landing in open areas. The IDF said, no injuries were reported in the incident. The attack by Hezbollah came before Iran launched its overnight attacks on Israel on April 13.
