Probably by the time they sang this song they were tired. I attended a live gospel recording last year. They did several takes of songs. Me and my daughter were exhausted by the time it was over. So I know if the audience was tired, the choir had to be almost dead 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Reggie and I were the two bass players at Lincoln University in the 80's! The fact is.... He WAS the BASS PLAYER! His rig was (if I recall correctly) a Music Man Stingray Bass, a Gallien-Krueger Head on a Hartke Bass Module! Damn it sounded so good that I went and got me a GK Head and a Hartke cabinet! LOL! So glad I got to be there with him in that! Yup! He was SPECIAL way back then! God bless my follow Lincoln U Alum, Brother Reggie Parker!

I haven’t listened to Hezekiah Walker in a while but this song and the song I’ll fly away has got my feet moving and my heart jumping for the Lord Jesus Christ thisSunday morning we have a teenage daughter that is getting a little wayward in her walk with Christ lately but when she was a preteen she would jump up to sing I’ll fly away and wonderful is your name when my wife played it on her CD player so today I am going to play I’ll fly away as a surprise to motivate her to remember the fire of the holy ghost that’s been a little dimmed in her.....Amen !!!!!!!
