Easy money. This should be a test every 2-4 years for all the FF of Houston. A lot of the fighters only pick out packages of meat at grocery stores.

I was being sarcastic. As a former FF, I joke about how I see them more at the grocery stores (in groups from different stations) then I do at fires. Packages of meat , is referring to the carts. They load up with meat and no fruits. Nothing else. To your question, the PAT test is for all cadets , Fire and EMS. And I really respect my brother and sisters in the HFD, but I'm going to be honest about them having some kind of PAT test every year. Good luck with your try outs.

i feel like it should be a 300 meter sprint lol everything seems do-able though. I just don’t think a firefighter would ever have to even run 1.5 miles 😂
