This is one of those Gundams that was only released once in model kit form (non-grade 1/144), if I remember it right. It definitely deserved another release (just not in P-Bandai though).

I usually stick with RGs but the Rose Gundam is one of my all time favorite Gundams so I shelled out the extra money for the p bandai pre order. If only the Delphi waterslides that were made for the "shoulder coat" of the Rose were still available 😔

As I am a 90's kid, this kit and the rg Burning Gundam both really take me back. I remember watching this on Toonami after school and to this day G Gundam is still near and dear to my heart right next to Gundam Wing.🫶✌️👍

This is a super cool kit. i would love to add it to my collection. I also totally agree with u that Bandai should absolutely start to step out of the box and start looking through their massive catalog of mobile suit and Gundams and give us the consumer something more interesting to build. As long as people still buy the more typical models, less likely Bandi will go with different models. For example, take DBZ Goku and Vegeta. How many different power ups have those two gotten? I suspect the toys have come out for most of those forms at least once. Then you have Gohan and Piccolo who might have half as many power ups and toys. I think many people who have backed something on Kickstarter or other such programs can understand forgetting how much you spent or when you bought things because of how long those projects take to get shipped if they are successful.

They really do need to show G Gundam more love (NOT PBandia, its called monochromatic btw). I want a new Devil Gundam. Bandai knows people will buy nearly anything if they mass produce them, they want the false scarcity. And its probably going to hurt their company in the long run... ..And eBay is crazy. The ONLY "gunpla" I've ever bought from eBay is a knock off clear version of a Heavyarms Custom.

When a new HGFC kit is announced (the Maxter was the most recent), check some stores for pre-orders. Bandai would usually re-release previous kits if a new one from the same line and series comes out.

the cost of this when we preorder here is about 24 usd shipping was about 2 usd, but my preorder didnt make it, it got out of stock in less than 5 seconds, so I bought them from japan, which cost me about 4o usd :(

It was like $35 but then tax and shipping bumped it up to like $47, which is just excessive. I almost guarantee they're making mad bank charging a $10 flat fee for shipping. No way a High Grade is $10 for a big company like Bandai to ship.

It’s called artificial scarcity -> the maker saves on production costs -> price and demand go up -> the collector gets screwed by scalpers. That’s why I stopped collecting MOTU Origins

This kit sucks, because Bandai SHOULD have done it as a general release, NOT a P-Bandai. Bandai REFUSES to do G Gundams as general release, and we will never see Tequila, Mermaid, Windmill, or Mummy Gundam as a result of Bandai's deliberate indifference to the fans. But by God we will get 3 special release HG 78-2 and a new MG 78-2 next year! Maybe a commemorative Unicorn no one asked for, some Converge no one asked for, and a Char's Zaku. That said Rose Gundam rocks, and if you put it on Fuunsaki you can have Le Gundam Emperuer.
