Thanks for the vid, just in time for my planned changes. I ordered a cheap 6 channel flysky radio that will be coming in today to get rid of that 16 channel monster. After the conversion I will try to make the change to the headlight control also.

really really useful series this fella. love it. What's the likelyhood of using some of the 16 channels for lights instead? I'd rather put a bunch of separate strings in on diff (switchable) channels than use those light kits with their needless complexity.

one could use the 16 channels for anything i suppose. I just dont find using the two stick useful for driving a rig. my plan is to put the 16 channel into my son's 1/6 scale M5 Stuart tank this winter. Ill video that job too.

the figure is the WWF figures you can get at Walmart. there is a store nearby that has some used ones, so i loaded up. then I make clothes for them.

Nice fairly simple mod which has a big impact. There are other cheep light kits (can’t remeber the names of them off hand) but operate same way lol I have a few in my bruders..but when my green 408 shows up I’ll do this mod 👍🏼 Do you also have the hg801 or 802? Nice unique rigs as well. I snagged those up on geekbuying back when first released for 450 and snagged voodoo’s coupon code on Rc Intro’s channel to score the deal on the 408..boils down to about same price on sale now. I still might think I saved a bit more even w/ shipping insurance and express shipping extra cost 😁😎👍🏼 Subbed also

I would say No. the Manual mentions 7.4volt lipo
