He has cited Jackie Chan as one of his main influences. He said he wanted to be a martial arts actor like Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee. Also, I'm pretty sure JYB does his own stunts. I think he had to do SOME to be on Power Rangers to begin with, but then his stuntman broke his leg and he was just like "yeah I'll do it" and ended up doing basically all his own stunts. (I read this in an article YEARS ago, so I'm not sure when/if his stuntman returned. But I know that the MMPR movie is all JYB doing the stunts.) He also definitely does his own stunts in the indie film he made. Edit: Okay I found the thing (or at least a version of it) for where he did his own stunts: "Johnny Yong Bosch did all his own ninja suit stunts because his stunt actor had broken his leg during training." (Source: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers the Movie IMDb Trivia page.) Also I have no idea why I know these things. I have a habit of reading useless information once then being able to regurgitate it at will for no reason. XD
