This technically isn't gambling because you aren't paying or putting anything up for sake, you can only lose what you might've won. The older games, gen 1-4 were straight up gambling though. Slot machines... hell RSE had a friggin roulette table lol

On thing we can do, if we don't have time, or aren't simply into learning how to manipulate RNG, is to use save states on the emulator. We can solve normally to the point where things get not so obvious and save the state, then try and see if the guess was correct, otherwise reset and pick a different option.

you need to hit the same seed I did and then you can follow the patterns

Thanks for the reply. Was just trying again and relied on the online voltorb flip calculator. Even then, I lost to bad luck. So how many seeds are there? How long does it take on average to get it?@@abtwisty391

I'm wondering a few things as I've been trying to do this without much luck the past few days-- in EonTimer, did you set your target seconds to -3 seconds like you'd usually do while rnging in hgss? Also, if I do hit the seed, the boards with be the exact same as yours completely, right? Everything will line up, not just the cards I'm flipping over?

hit the seed and boards will be the same. I aimed for the actual seconds in eontimer, no subtraction

I actually didn't get the other Abra as shiny. I chose the other Abra first to advance the RNG so the next three would be shiny. Neat idea though!
