That’s a good thing. Men shouldn’t be yes mans and should be allowed to have their own opinions. It’s unfair that women always get their way, they need to grow up and need stop being babies. He should not be agreeing to everything she is saying in the first place. It should be mutual and they should be collaborating and working together, BOTH making compromises. Christina also doesn’t do anything but stand their and command everyone, including Tarek. She needs to learn this is a business and not get everything she wants. She goes severely over budget for every project and half the time waste perfectly good materials to put in ugly things that will go out of style within a year. Not to even mention the carbon footprint and waste associated with that

I respectfully disagree too. Every buyer I know bought a place because something unique about that specific place hooked them in. Average buyer doesn’t have the capital to do a major renovation after buying the house- so having something bold but rooted in good design values really helps make a place unique and more like home for most people. I dislike the ones that were chosen here. Christina’s choice was just better.

Honestly, just saying.....My grandmother has an updated home with some of these same colors and stuff. I think Christina was right to want to put in something different by adding the Salmon or coral color in the kitchen etc. I know it’s been stated before but, it’s just too regular. Like, these are the same colors that everyone is going for. Do something to stand out. Tarek, trust Christina as much as you did before. She’s trying to show you that stepping outside of your comfort zone can/will pay off. She hasn’t steered you wrong yet!

I really like that there are multiple rooms within your great room. One big room for everything only looks good when ya know how to lay out your furniture. And they can feel like there's no where to have a moment by yourself. Nice job on this one!!

Its strange to see the Americans building rooms with drywalls..especially the showers and bathrooms....in our country in South Africa, and most other countries we build with bricks...so much more durable, private and less work...i always wonder what the person in the next door room of dry walls must all hear ...it looks like carton houses and can't be to safe in case of fires and break-ins...we only use drywalls to create cubicals in offices, etc

Here’s where the started going wrong- their ideas were polar opposites and sometimes she got her way, sometimes he did. Whomever lost their idea had hard feelings- u can see it in their face. Along with comments he made about not letting her jeopardize the investment. They weren’t playing on the same team.

I don’t know why these two still do houses together. Any on-screen chemistry they had before flew the coop when they divorced. I wouldn’t have liked pink cabinets, either, but that doesn’t mean the kitchen Tarek designed is any better! The dark tile in the kitchen is hideous, and the bathrooms are even worse. I can’t believe someone paid $1.1 million for this f’ed up house.

Tarek is sometimes a bit much, but his eye is on the buyers and market. The bathrooms would have been VERY white. If they showed us the whole kitchen design that Christina was suggesting it would have helped to form a better opinion, but what I saw was not very young buyers and the desing would have scared them away, as it is very different.

Arcadia is a very VERY good neighborhood. Safe, wealthy, and less than a mile away from the mountains which means hiking trails, wildlife and not to mention the neighboring city is Pasadena. Obviously higher prices means more people want to live in Cali than wherever you're from it seems.

I'm really tired of the way Tarek keeps shutting Christina down. He is trying to micromanage her instead of collaborating with her. It's no wonder they're divorced if he always treated her that way. It always seems to be about his way or the highway, and the houses are starting to look the same. I really enjoy Christina's design skills, and how they play into the overall concept of a house. If it weren't for her designs in the houses, they'd all be about the same. Boring. The white shaker cabinets, marble, etc. are getting to be tiresome. Sometimes you have to spend money to earn money but sometimes you have to save money so you dont go over budget and cut into your profit.
