Having just finished The Origin OVA, all the dunks on Anaheim are completely valid (though they did improve pretty quickly I guess).

They were laying the tracks in front of the speeding train in the Zeta era trying to go from 2nd Generation MSes (Post-OYW MSes) to 3rd (movable frame) right into the 4th (Transformable MS) all in the window of about a year. It's kinda shameless if you think about it how they stole the Mk-II, replicated all the key tech inside, and then had the gall to call their work the Mk-III like they invented everything...

If I remember correctly, the other E-pack is used for the short rifle. Nice, comprehensive review as always man

Dang, how come I only found out this channel after all this time? I really like how you review the kit, and the choice of bgm, really relaxing. If there is a chance that you got your hand on the RE100 MK III, I would really like to see the review of it! MG MK V too if possible. Keep up the good work

Welcome to the channel:) You know, I keep getting suggestions to do the Mk-V. I really might have to do it:)
@thebox17203 жыл бұрын
I guess the small beam sabers are on the shield because it's meant to be used while mounted. I think the MK III in G Generations have an attack like that.
@HobbyClubhouse3 жыл бұрын
I actually did that for the review originally, though they looked a bit odd because they pointed inwards. The poor MS doesn't have much background so it's really anything we want it to be
@itsgab57453 жыл бұрын
I personally think that the MK-III should've been standard, with the full armor and the other variations. Cause yes there is a version of the MK-III, that can transform. However, as for articulation, I think it needed to be a lot more better and somewhat based more off the Hyaku Shiki. Seeing as they both have that tall and lanky build and very thin waist.
@HobbyClubhouse3 жыл бұрын
That's what I found so strange when I made notes for this review. Body types like this usually have great articulation, which Bandai already did so well on the Revive Hyaki Shiki. MSes like these depend on their articulation and limbs a lot to be expressive (ain't got none of that chunky heft like The O to do the work)
@itsgab57453 жыл бұрын
@@HobbyClubhouse To be fair though, The O does have some really good articulation despite being big and old, those sub arms come in mind definitely.

This makes sense as a P-Bandai kit I don’t like it, but it makes sense. The Mark 3 is pretty obscure and is glossed over as it’s just featured in the Z-MSV and a few more non-essential places. This, unlike the Daughtress, makes sense as P-Bandai

nice review but dose make me wonder since the mk 3 and 5 have got som love if the mk 4 vill get som love soon. sd is cool and all but i would love a hg or mg.

Poor thing is stuck in G-Generation original design purgatory. Bandai is afraid of the non-canon cooties and won't touch them.

This guy looks like a weird cross between the Zeta and the L-Gaim to me... Very cool!

The pointy face and slender figure is very L-Gaim-esque indeed

I think its weaknesses are more of a derivation from its original mold derivation: build divers seltsam and tertium gundams.
@HobbyClubhouse3 жыл бұрын
I think so too, it was made as a by-product of Seltsam and Tertium, and it feels to me like they had to get most of the engineering done with the retail ones, and then use as little money as possible to wrap up the Mk-III for this release
@vodkacola51822 жыл бұрын
quick question does the Mk3 hands can hold the HG ZZ beam sabers? planning to recast mine if ever i get a ZZ thanks
@teknonaught3 жыл бұрын
ah! i was waiting for this! thanks! though bit saddened that reviews of this kit is lukewarm at best. still gonna snap one whenever i can tho. in your opinion, would this mould (hey that rhymes!) enables Full Armor.......armor down the line? (i typed my comment right when you start pleading to the Bandai gods. lol, but... i'll also do many unspeakable acts for FA Mk.3, moreso in GFF colors ) also, 14:20 i perma MA my A1, no more articulation woes lol.
@HobbyClubhouse3 жыл бұрын
It's hard to say for an FA Mk-III because all the gates on the runners are used to reconfigure the Tertium mold into the Mk-III and I can't find any clear accomodations made for the FA sadly. Bandai being the miser they are probably won't like how it only reuses a few of this kit's parts too... And high five for knowing exactly the articulation problem for the Zeta Plus:)
@MasterSwo3 жыл бұрын
@@HobbyClubhouse Is it really that bad?
@HobbyClubhouse3 жыл бұрын
From what I can see the layout of the parts don't seem to be especially laid out for a Full Armor version release. Doesn't stop them if they want to do it anyway, but we see more of that brute-force insanity with MG releases (like using one or two pieces on an entire runner)
@MasterSwo3 жыл бұрын
@@HobbyClubhouse But... I was talking about the Zeta Plus.
@HobbyClubhouse3 жыл бұрын
Ah, that's what you mean. It has a limited elbow bend and then the forward kick is hindered too, which is strangely very similar to this kit. It has fussy shoulders too. Love the kit still, but you'd feel the limited articulation
@someone_one_one3 жыл бұрын
Its a cool design but that articulation and the seams... As for the beam sabers on the shield... Maybe he could use em as some sort of beam claws?
@HobbyClubhouse3 жыл бұрын
I actually got footage of that shield beam claw, though I left it out of the review in the end. The angles make the blades point towards each other and the claw ends up looking like an ugly pincer

First comment and you already caught that oversight. I thought of exactly that! But my Mk-III is already in storage and I couldn't get additional footage -- which is why there's that green circle shot for the leg thrusters :') sharp eyes, my man
