The problem is that Sony and Nintendo will not do the same thing, this will negatively affect the sales of the Xbox, which already sells less than the PS and Switch, and this will make the platform irrelevant for third-party studios. so several games (especially Japanese ones) will skip the console.

You know, they can benefit from some partnership from time to time. I mean games as a service would definitely help both parties. Helldivers 2 for xbox after a set amount of time(for exclusivity sake i guess) and Sea of thieves for ps5. That way more people can get together and play these online games which tends to have dwindling in game population after a long time.

Or *2)* you could see it as them wanting more marketing for the release of this port, but only getting one simple trailer with no additional fanfare (it was just sort of dropped on the KZbin channels, rather than at any sort of big conference).
