I honestly feel like these kinds of games really lend themselves to banger sequels. Yeah the game was amazing, and it was a proof of concept that worked. With a bigger budget and creative vision, the potential there could be fantastic. Id say borderlands is like this too, 1 was good but 2 was genre defining

I genuinely believe that if this game was on all consoles off the bat, or at the very least JUST PlayStation, it would’ve done significantly better. This game was stealth dropped on Xbox and only got around from word of mouth. It should’ve been a contender for game of the year but because it was so slept on it just fizzled. One of the coolest games in a while.

Yeah this is an excellent question because I wanted to buy the game full price right now as a way of saying that closing Tango is stupid but if most (or all) the money goes to MS then I am not paying a dime.

The money goes to Bethesda or MS depending on the structure, always did. Individual studios get funding and they'll get bonuses based on performance (sales and as dumb as it is metacritic) but once you're shut down well that's that.

I had an amazing time with this game on my Xbox Series X, I truly hope the gamers of playstation will enjoy this game as much as I did. in my opinion this game was the perfect example of the "xbox tax", where the game is amazing but people just simply don't talk about it due to the platform it released on. such a shame, it's truly a great game, and deserves way more praise than it has received. I hope the sales generated on the playstation will further increase the chance of a sequel!

Because the game NEEDS at least rock solid (never a single framedip, not even to 59.5fps) framerste as high as possible (at least 60) to be able to play it, it's just almost unplayable without. It's actually a better decision to keep it for switch 2 or whatever will come next instead of releasing it in a unplayable state
