briefly explaining pound -> atom. You apply blue middle to Pound, adding letters to create Compound. you then apply red bottom to Compound. A part of a Compound is an Atom. When multiple boxes are oriented like that, you apply the rules front to back, applying each rule to the next word in the sequence.

theres a lot of different ways to make chains, vanilla LL1 uses those white pillars to allow changes to height while keeping the input text the same (white middle’s job) but custom levels like to use small white pipes so it looks less jank i think Olexa knows that already because of the funny chain in the challenge room but w/e

ive been getting the feeling that this game has been frying olexa's brain with each continuing episode haha Edit: i think replacing "is in" with "contains" is much better for the bottom reds "a feather is in a bird" is just a weird thoughtprocess

not just that, i've been noticing not just here but also elsewhere with other people that if you start a sentence (like Olexa does when thinking) you almost only think of words that fit that sentence. Fitting in that sentence means that it fits not only the context but also the grammar, which i think is why Olexa took so long to figure out RESULTS. Thus you need to be careful how you word what you're searching for

A lung exchanges CO2 and O2, that's pretty much all a tree does, in leaves, the rest is just structural support for the leaves and transport for water and sugar. So a tree is a very big lung.

for the Arcadian the blocks are in Top Green it was Middle Green that was thought to be in the environment from Level 1 but yes it's not that big a deal to choose to not do it at the time when you were overwhelmed

Me, a physics teacher, also not getting sugar at all. Edit: I think the atom was the following. Since it goes from front to back. First you take a letter from atom and make 'o', then the 'o' is oxygen and it makes an atom, since an atom is inside oxygen. But I could be completely wrong.

Actually, the thought process is: middle blue (add letters to) pound -> compound, bottom red (physically part of) compound -> atom

BLUE MID means add letters to "pound" which becomes "compound" Then RED BOTTOM means something inside of the literal "compound" which is an "atom"

I advise you to compare your spreadsheet to that comment. :) 33:26 I am embarrassed to say that I brute forced this section before figuring out how the grid worked. >.< I solved the ones I could guess, figured out what letters matched what numbers and then gradually used that info to solve more and figure out more letter/numbers. I solved almost all of them when I suddenly realized how the grid worked. 42:24 Just a hint: this room is day. When you go through the house it becomes night.

Red-bottom forest breaks down into tree(s). Blue-top then adds sounds: Chemis-tree = chemistry. Blue-middle adds letters to pound: Compound. Red-bottom breaks compound up into atom(s).

Graphite is mostly carbon and you can make it into a diamond, better than coal because it is more pure.

Don’t feel bad about the diamond one. That one was really poorly done. Mixing up graphite doesn’t get you diamonds, compressing carbon does.

@@bbittercoffee diamond can be gotten from rearranging graphite, yeah but yellow bottom has heavily leaned towards *scrambling* rather than *sorting*. i would have accepted diamond->graphite but graphite->diamond is imposing a specific crystalline structure and it really doesnt vibe with the, like, fish->chum or whatever it was

When doing red and blue bottom its easy to get them confused when you think "blank is in blank". I struggled at first with this then i changed my approach: Blue is add. Red is remove. Wall bottom blue-> add stuff to wall to get castle Hand bottom red -> remove stuff from hand to get thumb Think of it like an action or an operation rather than trying to complete a sentence. Helped me immensely

Let me tell you something that will make your life easier on Lingo: Color rules and height rules are SEPARATE. You don't need a ridiculous spreadsheet to remember each and every color+height combo. You only need to remember individual rules corresponding to color and height. Top = sound/syllable Middle = word/letter/glyph Bottom = meaning/concept/idea White = same Black = opposite/backwards Red = remove/smaller/narrower Blue = add/bigger/broader Yellow = rearrange/mix/scramble Green = environmental Gray = the thing Brown = future/futuristic Orange = cipher Purple = lol whatever i want Mint = [redacted] Lavender = surrounds Magenta = [redacted] Lime = [redacted] Beige = [REDACTED]

Yep! You're good on level 1 for now. The only reason to go back would be if you want to return to The Library, but I'd honestly recommend sticking around Level 2 until you start running out of things to do there. And that shouldn't happen for a while!

@@codesymphony It really depends. I had a pretty decent time in The Library. Most of the words were ones I already knew. I think there were 10 I struggled with? And about 4 that were an issue. Vocab is so important.

Looking back on older episodes of level 1 I think bottom green refers to pictures in the environments rather than words in the environment tho that’s just a guess

Top puzzles Do something with the sound Middle puzzles Do something with the word and letters Bottom puzzles Do something with the concept e.g White -> equal White top -> equal sound White middle -> equal word / letters White Bottom -> equal concept this goes for all colors so blue would be add and red subtract etc.

one thing about level 2 is you better have a rock solid understanding of how the puzzles work. What do the colors mean. What do the heights mean. If not your going to have a really bad time.

Try going counterclockwise around the lab pillar with the numbers, you only went clockwise around it. (Unless you go back later in the episode and I'm not there yet)
