Rap/ hip hop has been one of the genera's I have avoided for many years because most of their message I didn't agree with so didn't really relate. I was raised with music all round me. My mother was classically trained soprano and piano. My father more free lance self taught (learned by ear) jazz style..I look to music in several ways...does it make me want to dance with joy? Does it make me feel something deep. Is it speaking truth...
