The end of this video truly supports the meaning of this video. The way that the camera looks over the city, which were becoming a thing as humans and life started to evolve and become more complex, then also how Colby lights a cigarette, and how the camera keeps rolling passed the vineyard, as us humans have made our own sinful pleasures ourselves, and also as the sirens were going off, almost as a signal of trouble and sin, and then the distant silence, as if nobody is looking around at the world and what's happening to it. The opening verse hits me deep. I've resented God for getting a taste of my dreams, only to have it ripped away. I've tried to pursue those dreams in the last 10 years and I can't even get close. I know I got no one to blame but myself, but I still feel like it was just a giant trick and the only reason I got to live my dream for such a short time, was only so it would hurt this many years later.
