Understandable. I got saved during the War (GWoT). I was so weary and struggling, isolated, emotionally and financially...one night, I was contemplating su1c1de...I put the M9 to my head....and then there was a LOUD voice, like something from above, upstairs.....that said "NO!" And I listened...And, I don't know how to put it, but, I lowered my gun, unloaded it, and put it away. I went into my den and there was the Lord, speaking directly to me...and he said: "I've ALWAYS been here, My Son. You just weren't Listening". I collapsed! LORD, I'm listening now!

I miss the guitar solo ❤ it's significant to why this song hit so hard the first time My stepdaughter accidentally od'd in 2022, she played guitar bc her father was a musician too... we sold his guitars a few times to put food on the table for his 4 kids... she was the middle child and struggled her whole life with feeling accepted. Moved with her bf & his fam to SC at 17 and spent years down there with him - she lost him to an od when she was 29. She was just getting to the light at the end of the tunnel, she was expressing her exit from the dark and her mourning and learning to love herself and life again - *she started playing her guitar again* and -bam- one last hoorah gave her a poisonous dose of fent@nyl - and she's gone, that quick, in a blink of an eye. This is a powerful song my friend 🫶🏼🙏🏼
