I grew up a bad kid. Youngest of 3 boys in a concrete jungle. On drugs by 13. Not bud.... I mean DRUGS. Kinda always felt like I was destined for death and never worried about that. It's who I was. When my first son was born, that first time I held him in my arms, I found the savior our Lord Jesus Christ in his eyes. I never before found a purpose for my life until that moment. That tiny 7 lb 9 oz baby single handedly broke my chains for me. It was in him that I found me. I knew then my life had to change. I started going to church again and prayed for the strength to leave that life behind, and he heard me and responded in kind. I quit drugs, stopped interacting with those who influenced me, married his mother and our marriage is 21 years strong. And about 5 years ago we added to the family unit with another baby boy. I think Jesus saw my oldest reaching adulthood and sent me another reason to be the man I've become.

This song made me cry. I wish I could get a chance. But I feel so useless. I was attacked while homeless on the streets. And now, still homeless but 86.3% blind and I don't know what to do. Was ridiculed by the cops as a victim and my doctor and the secretaries at the police station. No one here seems to have a heart. Stuck in Mississippi and just hope one day I can go home. Thank you for this song. I don't even drink or do drugs. But I have to try and get me and my 2 dogs to survive because husband left me 2 days after I was attacked. Thank you for this song.

File for disability insurance immediately. Take the proof of your filing down to the nearest department of social services, and, they are legally obligated to house you until you are completed with the disability process, and all of its appeals, which may take between a year and 3 years.

I’ve been living in my car for awhile and struggling with addiction for a long time and just can’t seem to make ends meet, I still drag my guitar with me through hell no matter what in the hopes that one day I will make it out and finally live my dreams of becoming an artist and getting my music out there. Got 6.5 years clean. Every single lyric describes either how I felt or how I thought at one point while in active addiction.
