Of all the customizable multi-pens on the market, I find the Pilot Coleto to be the best of them (currently own several N-series bodies having either a three or four cartridge capacity). Pilot's ink is reliable and having a variety of colors to choose from with a corresponding colored push tab is ideal. Not sure why a transparent window was added; the colored tabs make it unnecessary. I don't particularly care for the overall design of this pen. It feels and looks cheap, in my opinion. Anyone interested in this pen should ensure that they have replacement cartridges of their favorite/more used colors at hand as the ink runs out quickly. Would love to see Pilot offer an aluminum version with a better, more usable clip, the transparent window removed, and a selection of more work-appropriate body colors. Thanks for the posting!

I would like to amend my earlier statement... a portion of the pen should be dedicated as a window. This is a necessary feature as the ink gets used up quickly and the writer should know how soon a replacement cartridge will be needed. With this said, I don't feel that so much of the pen body needs to be transparent as it is in the N 3 model; half an inch starting at the tip would suffice.

So my question is, the ink in the regular hi tech c, is it the same one used in the hi tech c coleto just made to fit in the multi pen body? Or, is the ink different? 🤔

You know what would be a good idea...a multi pen with the Pilot Juice Up.

do these ink skip as you first begin to write? I have a Uni-Jetstream multipen and every time I swap a color and start to write, the ink skips.
