I’m a 5’7, currently weighing 75kg and seeing the girl with my weight being content with hers gives me a little comfort. I used to weigh 60kg tho and even then i still feel bad and wanted to lose more weight to 55kg. But life happens and i ended up not taking care of myself thus where i am now. I would still love to lose weight and go back to 60. But then, im really happy for the girls with 65-75kg. They seem really happy and confident with their looks.

I think this also shows that they don't really want a certain weight, rather, they want a certain look.They were surprised at how skinny the first girl was, then they were surprised when a heavier girl showed up, they were surprised she wasn't fat. Muscle weights more than fat and height is also something to consider. I hope they also choose a girl with a nice personality in the future.

My feelings about this video are conflicted. I don't really like that the women were judged only based off their weight. I understand the point of the video wasn't to hurt anyone but I'm just worried about the youger viewers of this, who might thing they need to lose weight for guys to like them. Though it was great that the guys had different preferences and showed that different people prefer different kind of bodies and being skinny isn't what everyone wants.

It’s impressive that this shows the general concept of how preferences occur as well. You have two outliers who chose either extremes of the weights presented, and the rest spread in the centre. It’s kind of like a normal distribution on that. Always remember that you can love yourself and still want to change, and that you can choose what is right for you, and forgo what others tell you. The only opinion that should matter to you on weight is your own and your personal doctor, as they can tell you the limits that your body should go to.

Weight is useless to measure. Body fat percentage is whats important for body images. I know a girl that weights 67 kg and she is skinny but with dense muscle from working out. She has a nice and great body. Dont get obsessed with weight its just a number. Maybe eat healthier and do some cardio if you dont like it to bring it down but I dont recommend to get obsessed with numbers.

I understand the purpose of the video, but I think it deserves a footnote talking about the importance of not judging people, but respecting each one's body and that this video is to show that boys have different preferences and that beauty standards in korea they are different from the rest of the world and that all biotypes have their beauty. This is interesting. I am 160cm and weigh somewhere between 65-72kg (I am scared to check to confirm because I have body image issues) and they all look beautiful to me but yet I still feel ugly compared to them. Yeah, I was sitting on a table once playing a game (I’d joked about it and my friends egged me on) and another guy in the store (game store with lots of tables) was really weird and guessed my weight. He said 115 lb and I just looked at him funny because it’s incredibly rude to randomly guess a woman’s weight and public and because he was ten pounds off, I was 125 at the time. A lot of people think people weigh less than they actually do, so I guess that’s nice? (5’2”) (guessed 52kg, actually 57.5kg and 160cm) Not sure why random people feel the need to know my weight though. :||

In South Korea there is the beauty standard where if you are within a certain threshold of weight then you are considered beautiful, if you exceed that then many people will tell you to lose weight, it is a cultural issue even if recently it is finally changing. I think the purpose of the video was to break the beauty standard, to show that things are changing.

I'm 5'3 (162cm) and currently I weigh 116lbs. People always call me 'twig'. I've been suffering from.anorexia since age 12 and never got to recover fully. It's always just been 'eat so you look halthier' (force feeding by my parents), without tackling my mental struggles. So since age 12 (I'm 20 now) my weight has been fluctuating. In August I lost 7 kg and I weighed 47kg/ 103 lbs and I was so skinny that people thought they could break me by only hugging me. My parents were outraged. I wish I could post body checks on here but ultimately you can place 10 different woman with the same height and weight and everyone will look different. My dad always used to preach that in his family the bones are thick and heavy and I truly think that the weight of bones can differ from person to person (just like fat distribution)

The Average American woman is overweight (5'4 and 77kg), so it makes sense that you are considered skinny when in reality you are pretty much the perfect healthy weight range for your height. I think American's have a skewed view of what is skinny, average and overweight compared to other countries because they are, above average in size and thus compare each other to what they frequently see.

im not saying that judging someone based on height is great either, but weight and height aren't really comparable standards --- not in terms of their effects on the people you're judging. weight-focused beauty standards have had huge effects on the rates of eating disorders in many countries, especially in asia. anorexia is the 3rd most common chronic illness in adolescents, and this channel is literally called hi-teenager... so a lot of impressionable teens will see this and think "guys prefer women who are literally 0.5 bmi above the underweight category" (the one who was most commonly chosen has a bmi of 19)... and she said she STILL wanted to lose weight. again, i think it's unfortunate that men are judged for their height. i don't think that it's necessarily right to do, since it can lead to self-esteem issues. but it's still far less harmful on a grand scale than potentially exposing a bunch of young and impressionable viewers to ED-like thoughts -- because eating disorders can and have KILLED PEOPLE, put people in hospitals, and can even trigger lifelong autoimmune disease, bone density issues, fertility issues, or chronic disease. Twenty percent of all eating disorders, without treatment, will result in DEATH. issues with height haven't killed people. issues with weight, have.

I'm pretty big, but I've been eating better and exercising more frequently (few times a week), so naturally, I've been losing fat. I noticed that my arms have gotten smaller and it makes me feel a bit bad. I want to build the mass back with muscle. But I am a girl that wants to be seen as strong. It's interesting how different people want different things for themselves, but don't try and strive for it for other people, do it for yourself. I had jiu jitsu yesterday and I'm feeling good because I've got that muscle bulk. It's a great feeling.

I’ve only ever been called gluttonous, pig, fat and told I should stop eating because no one would ever like me otherwise. I know some people prefer curvy women but most people say they give a mature and cool vibe to them whilst I want to be seen as someone cute who makes people want to protect them. the atractivness of someome cannot be mesured in how much they weigh, if not on their personality, also depends a lot on whether the person is tall or short and their body type. There are super models who weigh 55kg or more since in the end they are adult women and often tall, and someone also can weigh more just because of her figure, if your straight a stick who is see-through of bones and a body type more rectangular for example, its normal to you to weigh little, but if theres a more heavy girl, it doesnt mean she looks fat, she can be an hourglass figure in that case.

Entendo seu amigo, eu lido com esses comentários da família e das pessoas próximas a mim, mas ultimamente tenho melhorado minha dieta porque eu costumava negligenciá-la e embora eu ainda não pese 45 kg porque estou apenas com 42 kg. Me being an American I think the 75kg is better looking, all thought they all are beautiful (and I truly mean that I'm not just saying it.... Like I'd want to have any of their body's tbh) But i think the more healthy looking girls look better, simply because having some meat on my ur bones is good, and good for you. I don't support unhealthy living... It's not beautiful if u are over weight ( like 200lbs and up) And the same goes for a woman who is super super skinny... I'm 156 cm and i weight 54 kg. I am brazilian, but i I follow Korean productions a lot. So, i don't consider myself a skinny girl, since i'm always comparing myself to Korean idols and actressess and even to American models. But, it's funny how many people who know me tell me that i am wee and thin. This is just something i find interesting, how different people's perspective are, how they are differ because of culture and how things are not so linear. PS: The beauty standard in Brazil is being thin, but full-bodied (Like Anitta). I'm not saying this is good, any beauty standard is harmful, it's just different.
