The UP of Michigan is wild and beautiful. Was thinking of going up there next month myself. Do you have anyone go with you for safety reasons?

When I ride solo I take the usual precautions of having tools, spares, water and an inReach satcom so others can know where I am. The U.P. has great ADV riding areas.
